Responsibilities

  • Assist the editors in processing copy – proofreading, fact-checking and sub-editing
  • Upload copy promptly

Responsibilities

  • Complete general ledger operations
  • Monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements
  • Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts
  • Draw up monthly financial reports
  • Prepare analysis of accounts as requested
  • Administer accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Prepare tax computations and returns
  • Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts
  • Assist with payroll administration when necessary
  • Monitor and resolve bank issues including fee anomalies and check differences
  • Account/ bank reconciliations
  • Review and process expense reports
  • Assist with preparation and coordination of the audit process
  • Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures

Education and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

We are looking for an experienced midweight social media manager to join our Harare team. The successful candidate will be a vibrant, highly motivated individual with experience in and passion for the social media and digital landscape. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage our social media channels across all social media platforms.
  • Continuously engage and analyse across all of the social media channels to achieve the business and brand objectives
  • Be part of planning, creating and scheduling of the social media strategies across channels
  • Create content for channels
  • Be able to check, monitor and report on distribution, responses and stats of monthly content across the channels
  • Identify areas or opportunities to develop and grow the brand social media platforms through continuous learning
  • Regularly report on social media platform metrics along with recommendations
  • Recognise, evaluate and implement new social media developments, trends and identify new opportunities
  • Identifying new platforms to capitalise growth
  • Attend brand activations, status meetings, workshops and events as and when required
  • Actively engage in the agency’s work environment and deliver high-quality work 

Education and experience

  • One to two years of relevant experience in social media marketing, including community management and content creation
